  • Many Central Texans are thrifting for Halloween costumes and decorations at Goodwill stores, where full outfits cost between $10 and $20 and Halloween items are 50% off until October 31 — this offers a creative, sustainable shopping option and supports community programs. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City of Round Rock is urging residents to lower water use during cooler months so that wastewater charges based on winter averages are reduced on April 2026 bills + residents can cut use by turning off sprinklers, checking for leaks, or upgrading fixtures through the Better Bathroom Rebate.  City of Round Rock
