Good morning, Round Rock.

Many Central Texans are thrifting for Halloween costumes and decorations at Goodwill stores, where full outfits cost between $10 and $20 and Halloween items are 50% off until October 31 — this offers a creative, sustainable shopping option and supports community programs.

Goodwill also asks shoppers to donate any used costumes after the holiday.

The City of Round Rock is urging residents to lower water use during cooler months so that wastewater charges based on winter averages are reduced on April 2026 bills + residents can cut use by turning off sprinklers, checking for leaks, or upgrading fixtures through the Better Bathroom Rebate.
