- ➤ Round Rock will host several fall events for families this month, including Hometown Halloween on Oct. 31 with safe trick-or-treating and a free concert, Fall Fun Festival on Oct. 29 with carnival games and a canned food drive, and a Spookout Soccer Tournament from Oct. 24-26 for kids aged 7-14 using themed jerseys + a Day of the Dead celebration on Nov. 1 with ballet folklorico performances and a public trunk or treat on Oct. 25 along with a library pumpkin decorating contest and an adaptive trunk or treat on Oct. 18. - ➤ Residents will gather at 8 a.m. Oct. 18 at First Baptist Church Round Rock for the annual Love the Rock community service day—volunteers will plant trees, paint curbs, install smoke alarms, and help clean parks and neighborhoods.
