- ➤ Round Rock City Council approved a $15.1 million contract with Adolfson & Peterson Construction on Sept. 24 to expand the Public Safety Training Center at 2801 N. Mays Street. The project will add over 6,000 square feet of meeting space and a new classroom building (approved in the 2023 bond election) and will include a skills pad designed by Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects (to boost training for the fire and police departments).
