- ➤ The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department announced that Lakeview Pavilion & Stage will open with Allen Stone in concert on November 15 at 6 p.m.—the event will include a ribbon cutting with Mayor Morgan, a fireworks show, and more community performances; the new venue in Old Settlers Park is set to host concerts and other events in the future. - ➤ On Monday, September 22, road construction will close E. Liberty Ave. in front of the Library between N. Sheppard St. — N. Lampasas St. to complete a walkway from Prete Plaza on E. Main St. to the Library; drivers must follow posted detours and plan alternate routes. City of Round Rock
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Round Rock Crisis Response Unit, part of the fire department, answered emergency mental health calls to help stabilize residents since its formation in 2022. Over the past year, the team handled 1,715 calls and prevented 102 unnecessary ER trips—providing follow-up care and training to support ongoing recovery. City of Round Rock
