- ➤ The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting on Sunday night at a home on the 100 block of Chandler Pointe Loop (outside Round Rock) after a juvenile family member allegedly shot another and the victim died at the scene. CBS Austin
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ More than 800 new laws now affect Texas education as Gov. Greg Abbott signed House Bill 2, which will launch a school voucher program giving families about $10,000 a year and add nearly $8.5 billion to public school funds. Some local districts, including Round Rock ISD, worry the extra money will not cover rising costs for all school staff. CBS Austin
