Good morning, Round Rock.

Barry Deshawn White, 47 from Taylor, was sentenced to 43 years after a Williamson County jury convicted him on charges of possessing cocaine with intent to deliver—detectives said surveillance following a Crime Stoppers tip in November revealed hand-to-hand drug transactions.

Two weeks after the San Gabriel River overflowed, local and federal agencies opened a Multi-Agency Resource Center—MARC—at the Williamson County EMS North Campus in Georgetown to provide flood victims with food, water, medical support, and financial aid.

The center remains open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through August 10 to assist homeowners, renters, nonprofits, and businesses with their recovery needs.
