- ➤ Twenty-two residents, city employees and utility district members graduated from UniverCity, Round Rock’s citizen education program, on June 12 at a city council meeting (the 13th class since it began in Fall 2017). City officials thanked the graduates, and one participant said he learned more about city government than in school (the program requires 33 hours of commitment). City of Round Rock

- ➤ Round Rock’s Utility Billing Division earned top awards at the International Utility Customer Experience Conference this spring in Phoenix for its creative digital tools + improved customer service. The division’s new portal, introduced in 2022, cut customer calls by 22 percent and reduced manual payment work by 20 percent, and Rising Star Supervisor Debbie Seman was honored for her outstanding performance.
