Good morning, Round Rock.

Firefly Aerospace received a $50 million investment from Northrop Grumman to speed up production of its medium launch vehicle now named Eclipse — built using components from Antares and Alpha.

The company completed over 60 engine hot fire tests and plans to launch Eclipse from Wallops Island, Virginia as early as 2026 — a project that supports space station resupply and national security missions.

The City of Round Rock is accepting applications for board and commission appointments until 5 p.m. on July 1—qualified applicants must have lived within the city for 12 consecutive months and be registered voters, with appointments decided by City Council for fall terms.
