- ➤ Round Rock firefighters will start the Fill the Boot campaign to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association the week of May 5 by collecting donations at the intersections of East Palm Valley Boulevard and Mays Street and A.W. Grimes Boulevard and Gattis School Road from 8-10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.—the drive continues a tradition that has raised $422,000 locally since 2011. City of Round Rock
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Nearly 800 Round Rock ISD teachers have received new laptops bought with 2024 Bond funds at a distribution held at Hopewell Middle School—107 teachers turned in older devices. Officials say the district will deliver over 1900 devices to staff by the end of May and plan more distributions in the fall. Round Rock Independent School District
