Round Rock police responded to a fatal cyclist crash on the northbound I-35 frontage road near East Old Settlers Boulevard close to McDonald's around 12:07 p.m.—westbound lanes from North Mays Street to I-35 remain closed as drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

Yesterday, the Round Rock Fire Department wildland team received new equipment from Williamson County ESD-9 — a Polaris UTV, a command center trailer, and a specialized truck — that will help fight wildfires and protect the community.
