EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Early College High School students in Round Rock are preparing to compete in Academic UIL events for the 2025–26 school year after taking part in four spring contests like science, spelling, number sense, and ready writing. Teacher Robin Forrester led the effort that secured their membership in District 25 — and the program plans additional invitationals and academic challenges. Round Rock Independent School District
- ➤ Round Rock ISD earned a B rating from TEA for 2023 with scores of 87 in Student Achievement, 86 in Closing the Gaps, and 82 in School Progress; 70% of its schools received an A or B and none received an F. Superintendent Hafedh Azaiez said the district's results show its hard work after rules changed with a lawsuit dismissal—while scores for 2024 are still pending.
